“Privilege log” describes e-mails withheld by Gov. Lingle

March 13th, 2008 · 1 Comment

This 59-page listing describes hundreds of e-mails that Gov. Lingle’s office (with advice from the Attorney General) declined to disclose in response to my request for 4-days of e-mail sent or received by her office.

Included among the withheld documents are innocuous sounding items like requests to schedule meetings, notices of legislative hearings, comments on job descriptions, etc.

The list is broken down by individual members of the governor’s staff.

Have fun browsing.

Doug White (Poinography.com) a question:

” Regarding the privilege log, I wonder if the Advertiser request for the communication regarding the Superferry EIS waiver resulted in them being handed over a similar log of recipient, sender, date, time, etc. Just knowing who was talking to who would be useful. I mentioned this on my blog a few days ago…

And here’s an update on the overall Sunshine Blogger project and similar requests filed with the governors of other states.

republicans seem to be united in cheneys belief that the people don’t need to know squat–and worse—they are getting away with it
