Wednesday…Portnoy interview raises June Jones Foundation issues

December 31st, 2008 · 1 Comment · General

I just finished a brief early morning interview on “The Jeff Portnoy Show”, AM 1500, featuring attorney turned sports commentator Jeff Portnoy.

If you are checking out this site after listing to Jeff, you might want to check out the entry he quoted from regarding the June Jones Foundation and the settlement with UH. Click here to go back to that December 20 entry.

Jeff wrapped up by asking me why there’s been no mainstream media follow-up on the issues that I raised.

I don’t have much of an answer to that.

Perhaps Jeff will provoke a response of some kind. We’ll see.

Followup by more than mainstream media is needed on this story. There’s an entire division (OK, well a couple of people) at the AG’s office whose job it is to patrol charities/non-profits and how they use “money.” Seems like THEY should be getting on this, especially since UH now has its own attorneys so there isn’t (or shouldn’t be? any conflict of interest issues.
