Saturday…Post Leo thoughts, newspaper tidbits, Norgs, Tweeting away our minds,

February 28th, 2009 · 4 Comments · General

Wake-up was usually Leo’s responsibility, and he got quite good at it. We noticed yesterday morning [...]

We said goodbye to Mr. Leo this morning. We arrived at VCA in Kaneohe just about 9 a.m. Our regular vet, Ann Sakamoto, took us back to see Leo. He let out a howl of sorts when he saw us. We felt the same way. Dr. Sakamoto explained that Leo’s blood tests have gotten progressively [...]

An update on Mr. Leo

February 26th, 2009 · 1 Comment · General

We were able to get Leo to a vet as soon as VCA opened its doors at 7 a.m. After an initial round of exams and tests, we were told that the prognosis is poor. Several vets consulted and agreed that the symptoms indicate a blood clot that has caused paralysis in his rear legs. [...]

Thursday…Cat emergency delays today’s entry

February 26th, 2009 · 6 Comments · General

I was just starting on today’s entry when I heard Meda calling form the bedroom. “Something’s wrong with Leo!” Indeed, something was wrong with Leo. He seems to have had a seizure, maybe like a stroke. His bladder emptied, and now his back legs don’t seem to be working properly. Our vets, VCA in Kaneohe, [...]
