When our friend and retired social worker, Abby, left Hawaii earlier this year, she had to leave her cat, Baby, behind. Luckily, the family that moved into Abby's rented house agreed to adopt her Baby, so she could stay in her familiar territory. She was outside several mornings this week, trying to keep Bandit, the new puppy, at a safe distance.
