| Arwyn was a shelter kitty, with personality enough for 4 cats. We took her home as her health was failing, very close to dying as a bad case of calcivirus caused her to not eat. In addition, she had a severe eye infection, ear mites and ringworm. I wrapped her in a towel and fed her a food slurry by syringe for two weeks, when she started to eat on her own. Today, she is a healthy 8 pound feline (up from a low of 2 pounds at 5 months). A definite lap and PC kitty, Arwyn likes to snuggle with everyone in the family and is always curious about and friendly to new people. She loves being indoors (I guess that early life on the street was pretty tough for her), and plays with her 'puffies', dropping most of them in her food bowl when it's time to eat. |
