| Ten years ago on Halloween a small lame kitten was coaxed out from behind a soft drink machine by two sixth graders. Two days later, one of their classmates agreed to take little Dr. Pepper home, "until a good home is found for her."
Of course she hasn't left since, but meanwhile the ex-sixth grader is far away at college. Now hale and hardy, Dr. Pepper is firmly in charge of the house and of her person's parents. |
