| Silverman sits at the top of the stairs on our front deck. If he wants to exit to his private "spa" downstairs, he'll give me a signal and then trot down the stairs and sit in front of the door until I open it. Sort of a "Lassie" routine. Smart cat. Photograph by Ian Lind  |
