Thunderstorms hit Kaaawa and the rest of the windward side of Oahu over the past two days, with last night's storm putting on an incredible display of lightning and thunder, and torrential rains estimated at up to 4 inches per hour.

I expected to see more damage in the low areas of Kaaawa this morning, but it appears flooding was minimal. Here's just a sample of what we found Sunday morning after the storm cleared.
