| And here's another change of pace--my parents home in Kahala. They've been there since 1942, but the neighborhood has changed dramatically in recent years. Most of the old houses are gone, replaced by monstrous multimillion dollar behemoths that don't belong here. The mango tree on the right was planted after my sister's birth, and the one on the left was for me. Hers, a Pirie; mine, a Hayden. |
