| Stanley Park substituted for Kaaawa beach on our early morning walk. The temperature was nearly down to freezing when we set out each day a few minutes after 7 a.m. It's about a three-mile loop from the hotel down through the park and back. The first morning we walked out past the Vancouver Yacht Club, although most of the yachts appeared to be tucked away for the winter. The "sails" of the Vancouver convention center are visible in the background to the far right. |
