| We stayed, as usual, right in downtown Vancouver, this time in the Hyatt on Burrard Street. That's North Vancouver in the distance, just a short trip on the SeaBus, Vancouver's regular commuter ferry. There's lots of new construction downtown, both office and residential towers. Visiting Vancouver gives a taste of winter, and there are lots of seasonal bargains, on top of the favorable exchange rate. Of course, everyone there wants to be here. Mention that you're from Hawaii, and people wonder what you're doing in their city. |
