In honor of Aloha Week, I gathered up some things from my dad's papers that capture a bit of the flavor of Aloha Week events in the early 1950s. These really are fragments--news stories with parts missing, photos where I'm guessing on the year, etc. But they still help create a picture of a time gone by in Hawaii.
