| When my sister was born in the Spring of 1943, my parents planted a mango tree in the back yard. There wasn't much there beyond the back fence. This would have been looking from the house, near the golf course, back towards Diamond Head and the interior of Kahala. WIthin a few years, it was all subdivided. Photograph by Ian Lind  |
