These photos, from the files of my father, John M. Lind, a restaurant supply salesman who arrived in Honolulu in mid-1939, show off several places in and near Waikiki. The photos seem to all date from around 1939 to the early 1940s. They are commercial quality pictures, probably commission to show off his company's work planning and equipping restaurants and bars.
