I will always think of her on the lanai looking at Diamond Head.

I met Ann when she was teaching at the University of Oregon and I was one of her students. That was about 36 years ago. We seemed to hit it off and therefore I asked her if she thought it was appropriate if she would like to come down to my parents home in Ashland, Oregon for a summer break. There, along with other friends, we watched the first manned landing on the moon. She always joked it was easy to remember which year we met. She meant so much to me. I am so unhappy she was taken from us. I will always think of her on the lanai looking at Diamond Head.
