This is Malama, a sweet Lab who lives on the other end of Kaaawa, where we sometimes walk on the back streets when high tides and waves drive us off the beach. He used to have a buddy, who has gone on to the big doghouse. When we pass his house, he's more than willing to accept a modest handout. And a very well-mannered and handsome guy he is.
