| After running through several options, we decided to say goodbye to 2004 with a pizza, which makes the cut because it's made from low fat ingredients. Why pizza? Well, it takes a while and we had lots of time. My own fresh crust has to be mixed up and have time to rise, then we turn to the various toppings, including low fat chicken sausage from Foodland, homemade pizza sauce, olives, mushrooms, a few onions, and a sprinkle of low fat cheese. Then there's Meda's romaine-tomato salad with a yogurt dressing. Accompanied with a Spanish wine that turned out to be excellent. And the plates--strawberry pattern in the Poppytrail series by Metlox. |
