Hearing on the Hokulia bail-out bill (HB 1368 HD1)
February 16, 2006 - House of Representatives, State of Hawaii

Click here for a brief video of testimony by Henry Curtis on behalf of Life of the Land (Quicktime).

There were a lot of empty chairs at the hearing of the House Committee on Economic Development and Business Concerns when it considered this last-minute bill that would bail-out the developers of the planned Hokulia luxury golf course development with its one-acre estates pitched to wealthy corporate executives from out of state. But the fax machines had been working overtime with testimony both pro and con. Please excuse the poor quality photo and video, both taken with a Treo phone.
