Lining up for cheesecake
Opening day at the Hawaii State Legislature
January 17, 2007
Just what the doctor ordered? Artery clogging, fat laden cheesecake? Oh, my! But that was the case at Wednesday's legislative opening, where the office of Rep. Josh Green, a physician, was offering up cheesecake for the masses. I don't know that anyone else saw the oddity of this pairing. That's blogger Larry Geller, right, with tablet computer and camera in hand, the line of folks waiting for their helping of calories and fat. Of course, next door at Rep. Berg's office, where I'm working, folks were offered Costco cakes. Not health food fare by any means, but, hey, we're not M.D.s.
