Mother's Day
It's the calm before the storm. The kittens are still spending most of their time sleeping and eating, but their eyes have opened and they're making the tiniest moves towards familiar kitten behavior. What does that mean? |
With their eyes open, the kittens are for the first time noticing each other. It's sort of random at this point. They struggle to crawl, then bump into each other, and then--hey, why don't I kick this other wiggling thing? |
It isn't quite a game yet, but you can already see the potential. And in another week--well, stand back! |
Thanks to those who have started to worry with us about what will happen to these kittens. We're at the danger level already in our cat population, so I expect that these kittens will be adopted out to good homes. They are going to be primo cats when they grow up. |
