| In the spring of 1972, two opponents of the Vietnam War entered Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, home of the Air Force's Pacific headquarters, and poured a vial of their blood into a file cabinet containing top secret records.
Jim Albertini, a high school teacher, and Jim Douglass, a University of Hawaii professor, were arrested and charged along with a third man alleged to have assisted, Charles Giuli.
They arrived at the federal court with supporters on July 7, 1972.
